Hummus

1 can of chickpeas drained

3 TBS of lemon juice

1 garlic clove crushed

1 tsp of salt

1 TBS of Tahini

 

Blend each ingredient, one byone, together until smooth. Cut up two pieces of pita bread and serve.

2 heads of Romanian lettuce

1 tomato

2 cucumbers

A bit of red cabbage

Half of a small red onion

A bit of fresh parsley

3 red radishes

1 clove of garlic cut in verysmall pieces

How to make thedressing

4 or more squeezed lemons

Olive oil

Salt

Steps

1.    Cut up all vegetables in a bigbowl and mix them together.

2.    Add all of the dressingingredients into another bowl and mix.

3.    Mix dressing and vegetables together.

4.    Put Pita bread chips on top.

5.    Enjoy.

First, put the frozenraspberries in the blinder with the lemonade, and then blend. When done add thegrapes into blender and blend well. Then pour into molds. Freeze to wellfrozen. Then they are ready to enjoy.

Oven Crisp Chicken Wings

1/3 cup flour

1 TBS paprika

1 tsp garlic salt

1 tsp black pepper

¼ - ½ tsp cayenne pepper

3 TBS butter

10 chicken wings, tipsremoved

 

1.    Cut wings at joints.

2.    Preheat oven to 425 degree F.

3.    Be sure wings are thawed and drythem well with paper towels.

4.    Combine flour, paprika, garlicsalt, black pepper, cayenne in a plastic bag.

5.    Shake to mix ingredients and addwings.

6.    Line a large baking sheet withfoil and melt the butter on it. (Makes for easy clean up.)

7.    Add wings to baking sheet andturn to coat.

8.    Bake for 30 minutes.

9.    Turn wings over and bake for 15more minutes, or until crispy and done.

 

Ready in 1 hour and 5minutes. Serves 4.

 

Chocolate Chip Cookies

2 ¼ cups of flour

1 tsp baking soda

1 tsp salt

1 cup (2 sticks butter,softened)

¾ cup sugar

¾ cup packed brown sugar

1 tsp vanilla extract

2 large eggs

2 cups (12 oz package) NestléToll House semi-sweet chocolate morsels

1 cup chopped nuts

 

1.    Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

2.    Combine flour, baking soda, saltin small bowl. Beat butter, sugar, brown sugar and vanilla extract in largemixing bowl until creamy. Add eggs one at a time beating well after addition.Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in morsels and nuts. Drop by roundedtablespoon onto ungreased baking sheets.

3.    Bake for 9-11 minutes or until goldenbrown. Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool completely.

 

Makes about 5 dozen cookies.

Deviled Eggs

12 eggs

½ cup mayonnaise

4 tsp mustard

Salt and pepper, for taste

 

1.    Place eggs in a pan and coverwith cold water.

2.    Bring to boil, cover and turn offheat.

3.    Allow to sit for 9 minutes.

4.    Fill with cold water to stopcooking.

5.    Remove shells.

6.    Slice eggs in half-length wise.

7.    Remove yolks and place in a bowl.

8.    Mash yolks with a fork and stirin mayonnaise and mustard, salt and pepper to taste.

9.    Mix until consistency is smoothand creamy.

10.Transfer mixture to zippered bag or piping bag and clip corner forpiping.

11.Pipe mixture into cooked egg whites and refrigerate until ready toserve.

Bacon

Step 1: I washed my hands.

Step 2: I put the bacon inthe pan.

Step 3: I put the bacon inthe oven.

Step 4: I preheated the ovenon 350 degrees.

Step 5: The bacon cooks in theoven. After I let it cool down then we can eat it.
